Are group coaching sessions suitable for beginners?

Group coaching is best suited to surfers and surfskaters who already have some basic experience. If you’re brand new, private coaching is a better starting point so you can build confidence and foundations first.

Do I need prior experience to join group coaching?

Ideally, a basic level of experience is needed. You don’t need to be advanced, but you should be comfortable in the water or bowl, and already starting to link basic skills. This keeps the group flowing well and ensures everyone gets value from the session.

What’s the difference between group coaching and private coaching?

Private coaching is fully focused on you, which usually means faster progress and more detailed feedback. Group coaching is more about shared learning, practising skills in a supportive environment, and getting time in the water with others at a similar level.

What's the minimum sign-up period for a membership?

Memberships run for a minimum of 3 months.
